someone asked me recently a question that made me curious too, a friend of mine has family living in europe and he wanted to send his daughter a headunit for her car... don't know why can't they get one over there but he wanted to know if US stereos would be compatable with cars in europe

Will it work in the car, yes. But... it will have difficulty picking up stations. America uses odd tuning values(92.3) and Europe uses even values (92.4). Some radios can be changed but it is sometimes a pain to get the info on how to do it.

I was in Europe for 3 years and never had a problem with reception with my US model decks.
