Anywhere from $200 to $5000. Location, paint, quality, mood of painter all make a difference. If you go to Maco you could get it done for less than $400. It may look like it was painted on a beach from all the sand in it though. The bodyshop I go to starts all color changes at $4000. You get the best paint job possible.

I know a guy that works at a body shop. He charged me $50 to prime, sand, buff and paint my box black. The box was for 2 15" M3's. I asked how much he would usually charge for it and he said it was a $150 job. So where you think i will be at with the expy paintjob?

black is the hardest paint to make look straight, expeditions are huge, paints variable, either omni or house of kolor are your extremes.  Macco will totally do it for like 400, but it will look like a 400 dollar paint job.  I'd say expect 4 to 6 thousand dollars.

dumb qestion, if you know the guy at the body shop, why dont you ask him since he can obviously give you the most acurate estimate.
