On my way home from my night job this morning my Bronco caught fire a burnt to the ground. Man I loved that truck. She saved my life more than once. I feel like a family member just died.  I had her for 14 years. I just got home and I had to vent my sadness. I don't know what happend I guess a gas line or something I'll know better later today when I go to my buddy's tow yard. Man I feel like I have been stabed in the heart. :(

Man sorry for your loss. That sucks. Did you have full coverage on it. I had a camaro that bit the dust not from fire but noe the less still heartbreaking.

yes I have full coverage I got to meet the progressive guy in a little while. They will not be able to pay what the Bronco's worth to me. She was old had over 200,000 on her, but the motor was new,the trans and tranfercase was new the rear end was new. I was getting her painted in a few weeks man it was gonna be a sweet ride. Now it's just some chard remains.posted_image

Sometimes if you give them receipts for the new parts you installed they'll take that into consideration when they write you the check. Sorry about your loss, you have my deepest sympathyposted_imagejust noticed the ad for parts for a 1990 ford bronco at the bottom of the page! is that coincidental?

Just got home from seeing the progressive guy. Sounds like they are going to try to screw me. I think I got a fight on my hands.

reciepts are your only hope.. Blue book is what they are looking at.. So, if you've got reciepts for that motor, tranny and t-case, thats probably more than the bluebook price alone!.. Stick to your guns, and threaten them with a lawyer.. can't hurt.. BUT, you have to be reasonable.. the vehicle was 14 years old, so if you paid it off in 4, you drove it 10 years with out a payment..

It's Alive, it's alive! Well progressive paid off pretty good. I kept the Bronco and got a cheap one for parts and 3 weeks and a whole bunch of hours and sweat she back on the road. I'll never let this truck die. She saved my life so I'll save her's. I'm so happy.posted_image
