Was talkin with promoter for North of Border show next weekend, and he was very frusted with the lack of support of Canadian distrubutors and big name car audio suppliers.  It seems that with possiblily the largest audio competition of the season in Canada, they have no interest in supporting the show.  These same people support "tunner" car shows.  Seems strange that they would spend money in areas where their product is uses is limited, and not provide any support in areas where their customers acutually use their product.  Sure you can argue that these rice racer are a potenial new market, but abandoning your current market makes no sense.  No wonder that the car audio industry is floundering in Canada.

i agree with ya there, but big business like that looks at what's hot these days, and the "tuner" scene is what's hot...sure 99% of those tuners have good systems in them but it's not what there seeing..there seeing these done up imports with wide body kits and stuff like that...and to go along with all that..they also like the drifting scene and other events like that....i would like to see car audio pick up in canada...especially here in nova scotia...it would benifit me because i'm in the process of opening a shop, got the brands (blaupunkt, infinity, JBL, Memphis) just need the customers
