Has anyone tried to install an alarm with a driver's door unlock into a 2002 Chevrolet Impala LS???? The actuators rest at 6V and and the drivers door one shows 12V when its unlocked. But when I apply 12V, I cant get it to unlocj. Any help would be appreciated.

Also has anyone heard about GM BCMs sending faint puleses on some wires like the door triigers that may set of alarms expecially the 2002 Impala?? This is kinda what I heard just wanting to confirm.

Thanks,

Matt

well you would have to put ground to the unlock at the same time if they rest at 6v so you will probably need to do a 5 wire hook up just for that .dont know on doorpins

That car has a negative single wire door lock system.  Lock requires a 470-ohm resistor and unlock just needs ground, use relays.
