What is the standard percent tint on an 97 ford explorer windows or any stock suv with tint

usually the rears come with about 20%

We've tested the tint on some fronts with the state troopers tint meter and it was like 7%.  Supposedly the total tint can't exceed a certain amount in my state, but I think they have gotten clarifyed now so that the regulation only applies to the added percent tint.

The tint shop that I work at uses 15% Johnson Window Films tint to match the factory tint on most vehicles...Different brand tints will have different percentages to match the factory tint
