forgot formula to determine value of parallel resistors ie 80 and 25 = ?

Use the parallel calculator on this site.  The equation for parallel wiring is 1/R total = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 etc ...

When calculating two resistors in parallel, you can use the product over sum method.

                                                      (80x25)/(80+25)
