so i am riding in a 1995 GMC Jimmy SLT 4x4 I plan on making this thing as nice as possible i currenly have blue led lights under and inside the car I also have a new eclipse head unit along with digital audio 6.5 in all 4 doors. Also got some euros on the way. I also have a cheap amp pushing a 12" 400 max watt pioneer enclosed sub. This is little bass but enough to compliment the rest but i want some extreme shaking. Like the kind you feel shaking your body even when you are outside of it. I am going to purchase the 1800 rms watt Hofonics amp and run it a one ohm. It is going to be pushing 2 Mmatts p3.0 wiring the voice coils and speakers in parallel. this will preduce a 1 ohm load i believe so anyways. But yeh pretty much i just want to know if there is any flaws that you can think of with this system. oh and by the way i am currently running 8 guage but am going to upgrade to 0/1. What size cap am i going to need with this and am I going to NEED to upgrade the battery or alternator. Do you guys think this will bounce quarters on the roof. Are these speakers good quality i know they are expensive but i want my system to sound good. Oh and how much Dynomatt and stuff like that am i going to need and where all am i going to need it. Thanks for all your help guys i apriciate it.

first off, why are you going to buy nice speakers like mmats and run them with a crappy amp. get a mmats amp to push them. as for caps, i really wouldn't recommend one unless you like the way they look or somthing. the money you spend on a cap could be easily spent on getting a second battery which would actually be of some use. as far as dynamat, you need to hear the car first to see what's making noise.
