Hello,

I am having a problem with an older Clifford alarm ... it currently has only a few of the sensor connected ... one is a DEI perimeter sensor connected inline with the Clifford Piezo sensor. The other sensor is a DEI tilt sensor.

The system seems to arm and disarm ok, however if I try to ARM > DISARM > then ARM again within several seconds (to approx ~30 seconds), the alarm goes off ... pressing the arm/disarm stops the alarm setting it to ARM mode ... pressing again it then DISARMS.

(waiting a longer period of time it does not go into alarm mode)

Is this normal for the Cliffords or perhaps one of the sensors is not resetting immediately after a disarm ... ?

(only the sensor are currently connected ... I have combined a DEI sensor with the Clifford Piezo ... a DEI tilt sensor is currently connected to the glass tampering ...)

I have come across this before and found that it was an issue with the dome lights. Make sure you have programmed the alarm for delayed interior/dome lights

Thanks for the reply,

I looked and my alarm does not have an interior light delay feature. However, after testing further, I think my first assumption is correct i.e. one of the inline sensors is causing a delay and the main control is unable to perform a normal reset.
