Im wiring a power inverter and i have the power inverter hook up to my battery with a 8 guage wire, and a 8 gauge ground the inverter works fine, i was wondering how to wire aswitch so that i could turn it off and on from my drivers seat, i have looked at switches, and i don't know how to wire a 8 gauge wire to a switch what to i have to do?

Use a relay activated by a switch. How many amps (max) of current does your inverter draw?

400 watts cont. 800 peak
