This was in topic today at the shop Actually a yelling match !! is it necessary to place a diode at the alarm and at the door module between the pin in the latch and the module w/ the alarm trigger on the same side as the door pin. I know it wouldnt hurt if its there.. but does the factory system shut off power to the dome lights like the fords backfeeding throught the bulb giving : false trigger after a few minutes

hey just take the combination meter out andused the door open lamp wire.
