will a h/o altenator make my system sound better.the one i am looking to get is 200 amps insted of my stock 110 amp ????  i have a kicker kx 1200 and a pioneer 800

No, a high out put alternator will not make your system sound better or louder, only your sound system will do that. It will save your battery and other electrical components from being starved for power, like your amps who usually have the highest draw.

It could make your system sound better if you have a habbit of running the amps into clipping because they can't get enough power from your alt.

I agree that it will really oly help your battery . get a factory higher output alt. and a cap.
