color codes

This is my first time posting here but not the first time reviewing. A year ago when I was looking for color code for my wife car to install a remote starter I found a great sight but now I can't. Was somewhere along the lines of www.wireit.com or www.wirex.com Dose this look formalier to any of you? Even If not where are some good places to get color codes and wire locations for a variety of vehicles? I do consider myself to be an advanced Novice install although with no 12v certification but a 2-year degree in Instrumentation and Process Controllers.
