I ended up here in a search for a fuse that goes into a transformer / circuit board for a pair of 12V -12" cold cathodes. I found this post https://www.the12volt.net/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=24648&KW=cold+cathode+fuse.

He didn't have a pic of the fuse in question but I do. https://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a271/davebr549/1.jpg As you can see, in the upper right side is a vertical glass fuse with orange looking ends. It has no visible marking at all. Does anyone have an idea of what to replace it with???

It just seems like a waste to throw them away and buy some more just because of this small fuse. Or, would it be posible to replace that fuse with a wire and use an inline fuse before this board?? Not sure what size??

Just buy a new set...I've never had the inverter die (it's always the lights). When you can just buy a new set for under $10 it doesn't seem worth trying to fix it.
