Yea, and it's a shame. GG was not always the best place to buy, but they were one of the few chain stores who hired knowledgeable people (including yours truly at one time, he said modestly.) First Federated goes away, then Magnolia gets eaten up by Best Buy, now GG goes down the Circuit City hole. Oh well, maybe it'll drive more customers to small independent dealers when they really need questions answered and systems designed as opposed to being sold whatever has today's highest margins.

Ha, you worked at GG as well? I too am a former emplyee. I agree that they offered some fairly knowledgable staff (including myself). Sign of the times I guess.
