In order to take the window crank handle off, you need to turn the knob facing 270 degrees and push the retainer clip off with a window crank retainer ring removal tool.  Watch out for the ring though, it has the tendency to fly off.  Your crank handle will come off easily once you remove the retaining ring.

we call those clips the 'well sh*t' clips... they fly and you're just like, 'well, sh*t'..off to the local auto store for an assortment of them.

roflmao the well sh*t part never head that name before.  just use a little pick to get at the clip thats shaped like a horse shoe.  just make sure you have your hand around the window crank so your "well sh*t" part doesn't go flying off.

Snap-On and Matco both have a tool for removal of that clip.. don't have a part number off hand.. but you just slide it under the crank and I cover the other side with my hand to keep it from flying off.. works a lot better than a pick..
