I just got a really good deal on a pair of actuators for my 99 civic dx coupe. I know i can hook up both the actuators using only 2 relays. Im just not sure as to what the connections I will have to make. My remote starter has a door lock and unlock output wire. Can anyone tell me how to connect these wires using the relays so that both my doors lock/unlock when i use the remote?

Thanks!!

Go here and use two SPDT relays : https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#arp

Hi Jeff,

In the reverse polarity relay diagram for door lock/unlock, does the each of the wires that leave "to actuators" split into 2 lock & 2 unlock wires to go to both the lock and unlock input of the 2 actuators (driver side door & passenger side door)? Also, do you have any pictures of an actuator installed on a 99 civic dx? If so, can you please send it to me as this would really help me install one in mine.

Thank You very much for helping out!

Just run the two wires from the actuators to the relays, use a battery to find out which wire is lock an which wire is unlock.  Join the locks together and connect them to thirty on the lock relay and do the same for the unlock.
