I have a 99 Nissan Frontier that I am doing a custom fiberglass console on.  I had to remove the passenger airbag control switch to accomodate the active x-over that I am installing.  Anyway, after plugging back in the switch, the airbag idiot light is blinking.  I tried removing the battery overnight, but the airbag light is still on!

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and what did you do to fix it? I just don't want to take it to the dealership to have the ECM Diagnosed... they want 85 bucks for that!  Thanks for your help in resolving this matter.

I know there is a way to reset the SRS system, but I am not sure. You might try posting your issue at https://www.infinitihelp.com/Nissan/Index.htm. They have a forum at https://www.infinitihelp.com/Forum.htm
