i have an impulse 990 alarm system, my door locks work normal when i press it on my key and all, and lock normally when i start my car too, but the problem is, when i arm my car, and then unlock my car manually and open my door, my alarm doesn't go off, when i had the alarm system on my old car, it worked fine, does anyone know what could be the problem? thank you.

door trigger wire, if you look up the wire code for your car it may be the trigger or dome light wires.
