Hi again,
I am about to install a Viper 135HF remote starter on a 95 Chevy Blazer. The truck does not have any factory alarm system. I have not done this brand yet and have been reading the installation booklet and have a couple of questions.
1. Does the neutral safety switch input have to be used or can this wire just be grounded ?? The reason I ask is that this vehicle has a mechanical neutral start that will not allow juice to go to the starter unless in park or neutral - if connected at the ignition switch side of the neutral safety switch, so this extra connection and toggle switch seems redundant. If this H2/6 BLACK/ white wire is run thru the toggle switch to ground, would it not act as a de-activation switch?
2. Where is the most accessible place to intercept the power locks ??

1. I am not sure about this but usually only used with a manual transmission vehicle
2. you can go to the driver's kick panel or found at the TRW keyless entry module mounted to the under dash panel on drivers side. With the module unplugged, the drivers door lock will no longer function.

The nutral safety input is only needed if the vehicle does not have a NS switch. So in answer to your question. Yes just ground it.

Don is right, however DEI strongly suggests putting in the toggle to use as a deactivation switch. (read the label that is supposed to placed under the hood)It is designed to be a safety to deactivate the remote start if service is being done on the vehicle, so the technician doesn't get caught in the engine. Hopefully you have the hood pin installed to prevent this but it's DEI's way of covering their butt.
