I need advice on an alarm system to add to my car. I currently have a keyless entry/remote starter on my car. Rather than replacing the whole thing I would like to add on just an alarm and use the arm/disarm feature of the system I have now. Can anyone recommend an affordable alarm I could use for this. Thanks.

I am not positive, but I dont think there are many add on alarms, and if there are it seems to me that it woul dmuch less of a headache to just get a combo alarm/starter.

There are add-on alarms for OEM keyless entry systems, a quick search turned up the following:
DEI Hornet 700T
Commando DL-100
Autoloc - Stellar EX259
J.C. Whitney has 3 units 2 by Valiant and third ?
I'm sure there are others, but most here believe you can't go wrong with DEI.

I DEPENDS ON WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE YOU HAVE I WORK FOR A MOPAR DEALER AND THEY HAVE AD ON SYSTEMS THAT WORK TOGETHER IF NOT JUST ADD ON A SYSTEM AND HOOK UP YOUR POWER LOCKS IT WILL BE CHEAPER MINE WORKS GREAT AND MY OEM KEYLESS STILL WORKS
