I have just bought a JVC CH-X470RF CD changer for my 2001 Cavalier.

Question is - Will it be easier to install it in the glovebox or in the trunk ?

In the trunk I have easy access to the antenna connections but feel that the glove box will be nearer the various connections needed.

Any and all help will be really appreciated.

Well, as you said the glove box would be closer, and out of the way. That way there is nothing that can hit it while driving and so forth. I would say go for the glove box. You might have to work a bit more but in the end you will be happy with the outcome. No needing to run to the trunk to switch out that cd, all right there in the glove box. Nice, Neat, and Clean.

Like Sound Pressure said the trunk will be an easier install but in the end it’s worth the time of installing it in the glove box.

Eh Guys I appreciate your input to help me.

Well that is what I am thinking but I have to be able to access the antenna lead to the stock Chevy CD Radio.

Will I be able to get to the antenna connection without removing all the dash ??
