MY CD PLAYER HAS A RED, BLACK, BLUE, AND YELLOW WIRES

THE TRUCK HAS 5 WIRES, RED, YELLOW, ORANGE, GREEN, BLUE

I HOOKED UP(AS A TRIAL) RED TO RED, YELLOW TO YELLOW, BLUE TO BLUE, AND BLACK TO ORANGE AND THE GREEN WIRE FROM THE TRUCK WAS LOOSE.

IM TRYING TO HOOK THIS UP TONIGHT, ANY QUICK REPLIES WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Here is the wiring info for the deck, but test your connections with a DMM or light tester before connecting anything. 1987-91 Ford F Series Stereo Information

ok, i cant figure this sh*t out. ill give some info, and someone please help

my cd player has 4 wires. yellow-hot, black-negative, red-accessory, blue-remote

the truck has color codes like this:

Constant 12V+GREEN/ YELLOW 
Switched 12V+Yellow/Black 
GroundRed or Black 
IlluminationBlue/Red 

im f**king clueless witht this sh*t. please please help a brother

i got it. the ground was red, hot was green, but the trouble maker was the accessory. it was orange and black. you may want to make a note of this, because i believe that many of the ford vehicles 86-91 have the same radios. thanks for the help jeff. peace out
