I am attempting to install power locks into a manual door in a 1998 dodge ram, i have the actuators mounted and want to divert the power to my door locks then through to my wiring harness on the side of the dash, however i am lost on how this should be done. should this be done differently taking into consideration that i am planning on installing bulldog security? also was needing the wiring diagram so that i know whats hot.
thank you

if you have the kit that has the door switches as well as the actuators then all you need to do is find a good 12 volt supply. i installed reomte door locks on a corvair and after i had the actuators installed then i mounted the switches and found a good 12 volt supply and proceded with the installation. if you have the kit the the connection between the switches and actuators should be just plug ins. all you need to do is run the switch wire to the actuators. bob p.
the door switches are from the dodge but the actuators are aftermarket. the problem i am running into is that i cant find power out of the harness that connects from the dash to the door. so that i can run power to the actuators using the origional lock device that was in the dodge. i was curious to know what color the wire should be that runs out of the dash harness that supplies 12 volts and also the locks being reverse polarity do i need as well a relay, or is that built into the door locks itself?
