HOW TO MAKE OTD WINDOW
If you currently have the advantage of bringing your driver window down with one touch and want to make your passengers windows to work the same way, well is possible. Not only is convenient but also passengers get surprise when they try to bring their windows down. I looked for this info on the net and never found it. With a few tips from here and there I finally got it done and that’s why I have decide it to write it down my self to help others with the same purpose.
Please note that you may need to have some kind of electrical background to do this yourself.
Me, kreativesailor or anyone else will not be responsible for your actions or miswiring. Make sure you have a good wiring schematic for your vehicle when doing this. I have done this with my 2001 Ford Expedition for all the passenger’s windows and my friend’s 1995 Ford Mustang. It may be possible to get it done in other vehicles. Not sure though since I never done it other vehicles beside the one I just mentioned.
You want to make sure your window motor legs rest at ground.
I went to my nearest junk yard and picked up an old OTD Module (One Touch Down) from one of the many ford vehicles there. Go to a Ford vehicle that have power window capability and look for the OTD module inside the door panel. Is about the size of a pack of cigarettes and color ranges from blue, black and grey. Price usually ranges from like $7 to $10 bucks.
You’ll find them inside the driver’s door panel. If not there most likely is under the dash somewhere but it will be more challenging to get it out. I found a few of these modules on ford escorts and I think some Grand Marquis vehicles
This is what the module looks like:

There are five pins (wires) attach to the module. All the modules don’t have the same wiring color code. For installation you need to cut the wire that shows +12V when window switch is pressed down. This can be found at the window switch that’s gonna be worked on. You need to do this with every window you decide to make OTD. If you are planning to do One Touch Up you will need to find the UP window wire. The steps are pretty much the same for One Touch UP or Down.
To wire it to your vehicle just wire it as instructed below.
From module pin#’s:
Pin# 1) This wire goes to your window down wire on the window switch (need to cut OEM window wire). Connect this wire to the motor side.
Pin# 2) This wire goes to the switch side.
Pin# 3)+12V input. (Tap it from window Switch, it may be +12V only when ignition or ACC is on)
Pin# 4) This wire goes to window UP switch wire. (Tap it from window switch)
Pin# 5) Ground (Tap it from window switch)
This module could be used for One Touch Up as well but in this case you will need 2 modules per window. One to go up and one to go dow

Good luck and hopefully this info will help you if you ever decide to do it yourself.

You can try and fail but dont fail to try...
Yes it will work, but usually not recommended if you got kids.
