I would really like to see the installations of the main contributors to this site. I love the wisdom they share with us and the advice they give. But there comes a time when you just gotta know ... what do you have in your trunk!? (or in your car, upfront, under the hood, under the body ... etc)

Thanks for sharing so much already!

Heres a work in progress. Its an LCD display to replace the overhead clock/temp thing in my wifes Infiniti. Displays all sorts of vehicle info plus temp, voltage and current for up to 4 amplifiers.

damn, sick installs jeff. and damn that LCD display is SIIIICK, i wish i knew enough to program them from nothing. I can do them on xboxes because there pre-built. but thats awesome too looks great.

Obviously you could convert the values to metric easily enough ie: Kph and centigrade

I have thought about that but it would be a novel. The firmware alone is just under 16,000 lines. Also thought about manufacturing them but got wrapped up in a paying project. But once thats done.......

Actually the data comes out of the car and the sensors in metric. I convert it to imperial units in the firmware.

you have some serious knowledge, I hope you are using it somehow in your day to day life, as it is something you clearly enjoy. You should look into writing some books or something.

firstrax that  thing is amazing its just awesome . i seriously feel it will be a good tutorial for all of us , no hurry when evr u have the time , and besides u could use ne large lcd rather than 4 small lcds . anyway keep up that good work .
