A nice new project has come our way. It will be outfitted starting up front with a Eclipse AVN7000 dvd nav unit, DCU105 surround sound decoder, SIRECL1 satellite tuner, BEC105 backup camera, TVR105 tv tuner, IPC106 Ipod interface for starters. Door speakers will be Focal 165K3P + another midbass driver, center speaker will be a matching 165K2p, rear speakers are 165KF. Subs will be the 15" Kevlar and maybe just maybe 10" drivers as well. Amps we are leaning towards Zapco at this time but am going to entertain other options. A XBOX360 and a couple more screens to be added as well. Monster job, big big big big big. Should sound amazing when finished though.

Jeff, fly out here for the week, you need a vacation and today it is sunny and about +18. Westjet flies direct here from Edmonton and Calgary. This is going to bog me right down for normal business as well. I just gave out 3 more quotes over $3K alone on Saturday with one booked in already.....

I have a new old school Soundstream Tarantula amp that I think is going to land in this vehicle as well. I need to get on a Stinger 200 amp alternator like pronto as well otherwise I can see the issues starting....

Mr. Spider has been here for awhile, yes. I was going to use him in my F350 but never got around to it. So now he has a new home save for the fact that he will not match the Competition Zapco amps we have chosen. So he might end up staying here at the shop again. Did I mention that it is sunny and warm here again today. Suckers...nana

Ok, soliciting for another installer right now as well. My main guy looks to be heading out to a union job.....timing sucks but I can't blame him either, $30 something an hour and full benefits... Jeff, get out here dude. Need someone to help take on this task otherwise we will get totally bogged down.

I'd love to Rob, but I just sold an 8K system to a guy with full fiberglass and multimedia. He wants to start on it ASAP. Don't get me wrong, a week off to help a fellow installer in a warm climate is definitely something I would love to do, but unfortunately I have my hands full as well. Like you said.... bad timing.

Well, it's now gone bigger again, Focal Quad coil 18's + an amp on each one. Chrome plating on the Competition Zapco amplifiers, dual 6.5" midbass drivers + the K2P's in each front door. One amp on the midbass drivers, another on the K2P's. Another on the center channel, another on the rear doors and tailgate for Xbox 360. FAK....too much to do and only me and my rookie's. Taking the dashboard out of this thing is being a beyatch. Jeff, rebook your guy and I'll pay the plane fare and hotel. posted_image

Gus
PS: I am also busy pricing out a couple interesting ones.... one is going to be a total gut and redo of a 78 240Z. Redo all factory wiring, build new dash, doors, console, hatch..... video, putting in power locks and windows..... have the car for like 3 months..... whoo hah!

So, our job has now grown again. A 36" plasma on the rear liftgate controlled by actuators. No more waiting on chrome JL amps when he can go with modded Comptition Zapco amps.....all 24K plated. FAAAAAAKKKK, Jeff send all of your work to Gus (or hire him for a month), then head out here. This vehicle is like the energizer bunny....
