My current alarm system doesn't have the option of illuminated entry but I would like to add it.  My car has a delay for the interior lights so that they stay on for a minute when triggered.  My question is would I just wire up a relay to the unlock output of the alarm and wire the relay to the interior lights trigger so that the timer is triggered by the alarm?  Any help is appreciated thanks.

That would be the first method I would try. If that doesn't work or if you need help with the relay wiring, just let us know.
