I have a question, and its weird cause i cannot find any pics to show you what i am talking about.. now bare with me.. on your door the window..

You know how on one side there is slider that prevents water and **** to get in to the door and its like a groove for the window, you can take that piece off so you would have a gap between the door and the window, now when putting the piece back in between the window and the door, it wont stay there are metal pieces shaped like a traingle.

Ive tried bending the piece both ways it wont stay, there are no grooves in the door so it can hold.. im thinking an epoxy? any suggestions or solutions? it would be greatly apprecaited

Thank you

You sure there are no little metal clips that hold to the trim panel, they would normally attach to the trim panel and the whole assembly would slide into place.  Gluing may not be a good idea as what would happen if your had to remove the panel again for any reason.
