It's been many years since I installed a car stereo so please forgive my ignorance.   I have a Metra wiring harness for 93 Mustang and there is an illumination wire (Orange).  Does it need to go anywhere?  This is just a simple stereo install (no amp, etc.)  The new radio's wiring harness doesn't have an illumination wire...just the usual (ground, 12V Ign, 12V batt, and power antenna....then the 8 wires for the speakers).  Does the Orange illumination wire need to be tied into the 12V Ignition?  A pointer or two here would be very appreciated.   Thanks in advance!

You do not need to hook this wire to anything. tape it off well and wrap it along with the other wires.
