97 Chevy ext cab.Would unplugged factory keyless entry module stop the door locks from working by using the switches? Also are these 3 wire positive or 5 wire locks? Thanks Bob

Try it !! IT can't hurt by unplugging the OEM keyless entry module to test for operation. Some vehicles require that the module be in place for security reasons. You have a 5 wire type Csystem on the truck.
