I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE DOOR LOCS ON A 96 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY PLEASE HELP

your door lock wire is a yellow \ pink wire in the drivers kick panel is a negative wire. All you need is a relay the wire must be cut lock the doors and negative to unlock. wire realay as follows.

PIN 86 negative alarm lock wire

PIN 85  +12VOLTS fused

PIN 87a yellow \ pink going to wire harness

PIN 30 yellow  \ pink going to door harness

also put a diode in pin 87a with stripe facing away from the pin a 3 amp diode shold be fine. Then connect your alarm unlock wire from alarm to diode on the stripe side.

Your car is a one wire system , remember the yellow pink wire must be cut and wire in to the realy. when you lock the relay will cut the wire causing your door locks to lock, when you unlock it will pulse the wire with negative causing your doors to unlock GOOD LUCK!... test your wires.
