I have a 1963 Ford Falcon which I have installed a cooling fan out of a late 90's ford. I currently have the fan hooked up to a temp sensor in the manifold however I would like to make some changes.
1. I would like to have it so that it comes on "low" at a given temp and high when it reaches another temp.
2. I would like it to run for a 5 or 10 min period after the car is shut down.
3. I need to have an overide switch so that in the event that the electonics fail I can flip a switch and still turn the fan on.

What you need is a circuit board to do all the items that you want. You may want to ask a air conditioning specialist to see if they have something for you.

Jeff,
Thats actually not a bad Idea. However all of the units that they actually make for this aplication are in upwards of $80.00 essentially the one function that I really would like is the "over run" feature where the fan will run for a given amount of time after the car is shut down!
