While installing an Autostart in a 05 grand am, i noticed that the clock/tuner was nolong lit(base model tuner/CD). All the rest of the radio is lit as well as the rest of the dash. I am still able to tune the radio and all of the fuses are good. Any suggestions on what to look for.

The display of your radio should come on at power up    it is not dependant on your illumination circuit.   Well at least the older units weren't   Don't know about the new DataBus units

If the radio's display doesn't work with the key, then it is a internal radio problem (bulbs). It is extremely common for Pontiacs to have this problem. It is nothing you did. The radio may not work when under remote start.
