Actually it isn't really that complicated         But first I need to know how much current your device draws?         it will be  300ma    500ma     750ma          1amp

Second I need to know if you know how to solder?

The parts you will need are available at RadioShack  at  1.59 each   we may need 2  depending on the current draw of your device

7805 5V Positive voltage regulator. Three terminals, 12v in, ground, 5 volt out. At 350mA, you won't even need a heatsink.

Radio Shack catalog number 276-1770. $1.59 each, and one will be plenty.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

When you get the part you can order it via the Link In Haem's post with the part facing you (the side with the text on it) the pins are in the order Haem mentioned    Voltage In      Ground       5Vout

I would solder a red wire to the left pin   which will be supplied 12 volts when your ignition is on

A black wire to the middle pin to be Grounded and a wire color of your choice to the right pin         this will be your 5 volt wire to feed your device

Radio Shack is an electronics store in the US, (and other parts of the world, I believe, but apparently not Singapore). I believe they will ship worldwide, and they accept credit cards for online purchases.

eBay is not allowable linkings here on the12volt, but go to ebay.com, enter 7805 in the search engine there, and buy from someone close to your location. Freight to Singapore will be more than the cost of the item for you, unfortnately.
