ok whats the skinny on this ive heard it all now i want ot hear it from the pros. i have an old school kicker comp sub 15 inch. it has a small rip at the foam surround due to a 70 iq person who couldnt use a screaw driver go figure. ive contacted kicker and no response going on 3 weeks guess thats a no. i have contacted a local speaker repair place and again kicker didnt respond to his req for a rebuild kit? ive heard it all silicon sealer ? bike patch? rubber cement? and the best of all duck tape? so pros whats the deal? it is a very small rip about 1 inch long only on the foam surround the idiot we will call him forest didnt hit the cone .

I've used 100% silicone several times to repair subs that people have punched holes in. It works great IMO.
