posted_image I have a 1999 Montana with daul heaters. I installed a Crimestopper car starter\alarm system. It has been working fine, until the other day. The heater fan quit working, I tested the output and sure enough there isn't any power. I talk with a few professional installers and they indicated that the daul heaters when left on high will draw to much power from the command unit.

I was justing wondering if anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a way of limiting how much draw the fan heaters can pull (other than a fuse link)?

posted_imageI had a 30amp fuse on it, and I'm sure that the trace on the unit is burnt, you can smell it.

sir, there isnt much of a way to limit the current draw......but u could always wire a 2nd relay powerd seperately to run your acc, simply use the supply of your first output to supply your 2nd relay and use another fused power source from your battery. that should eliminate the current draw from your remote start unit itself...  coooldnky. autosound electronics ky.posted_image
