I am wiring a small device(hardwired FM modulator).  I want it to be off when my key is out (1996 Lumina).  Should I just tap power from my ignition(pink) or accessory(brown).  Would it be smarter to use constant 12v with a relay connected to the switched power source(ign.).  Do my switched sources have enough to supply Audiovox FMM-100 FM modulator without consecuence?

Please respond with advice.

Thanks alot!

Since you need to pull the radio anyway to get at the antenna connector, I'd just tap into the radio's accessory power. It won't hurt a thing.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
