hi i am looking for a 4020 ohm resistor i have a gm vats system resistor pack but im not reading 4020 on my dmm..when looking for that 4020 will it show up that or no 04.0 like this

That isn't a value resistor for VATS, but the reading may appear differently depending on the meter, and what scale it is set to. Since you're measuring a value in the thousands, you will set it to a scale in the thousands that's capable of measuring the value you're looking for (20K ohms for example instead of 2K ohms). If you got a reading of 4.02, this is in the 20K ohm scale, meaning a value of 4,020 ohms. If you measured in the 2M ohms scale, your reading would be .004. Understand?
