My boss has a Volkswagon TT v10 Touareg, and has a wireless fm modulator that both supplies power to the ipod and has a built in fm modulator. When the vehicle is off, the fm mod sounds, actually GREAT. When the engine is on, however, makes one of the worst ground /alternator sounds i have heard. Anyone have a good solution for this? All the cigarette lighters do this, backseat ones, front ones, etc. I would appreciate any insight. I was possibly thinking of removing a ground from the power outlet and grounding it strait to a metal chassis ground. Any ideas???

Do the Big3 Upgrade. The grounding portion will prob. take care of it.

-Also, they sell fm mods that are battery powered so you can use them in the house as well.
