I went to replace my rear speakers in my Cadillac 1990 Seville and saw a little rectangular box attached to the terminals of each 6'X 9' speaker. Is this a transformer of some sort. Will the repacement speakers I buy have the same thing attached ? Or is it a wiring harnes?

This is a crossover that I think BOSE makes ( if it's anything like the Olds Trofeo ). The new 6 x 9's that you will get will not need this crossover as it will already be built into the speaker.

OK . Will new speakers come with terminal clips ? Or do I need to Solder wires to Terminals?
