I need some help setting up my bidirectional motor control unit, so that I can make my dc motor rotate in either direction. I am using qbasic to control the motor and am using a power supply that is set to give out 12 volts. Any help is appreciated...

What you need is to look at is how the two relays inverse the motor direction. Basically both motor wires rest at ground but when one or the other relay is activated, that motor lead gets 12V positive.

Here's an idea (connect the motor leads where it says "to actuators"):

You can also look in to using an H bridge, depending on how much current you motor is rated at.  If it is a higher current motor it would be quicker and easier to go with the relay setup above.  If it is a smaller motor the Hbridge configuration will take up less room in the car.
