Hi guys, I was wondering if this is too much for a little ol' small remote wire coming out of my head unit to power...

I have a 2006 chrysler 300, head unit is an avic n2

the remote wire coming out from there going to the trunk is connected to 2 amps (one 2 channel for the subs, one 4 channel for the speakers). also have it connected to the back up camera, and 2 12v computer fans for the amps. What do you guys think? I think it is too much and need to do a relay. Anybody think I am in the clear and dont need to change anything?

I would run a relay for all of it just to be safe.. The remote leads are usually good for only a few mA. If one of those fans should take a dive that could blow your turn on ckt in the head unit pretty easy...

A Bosch relay and a 5 amp fuse. These will cost you alot less than having your HU repaired.
