I used goo gone on my denter console piece in my 99 civic that had tape residue on it. Now it hazes...Is there any way to fix this? When i use my fingernail to scratch/rub at the area, it seems to 'scrape off' and shows the regular color underneath, but nothing really comes off. Im hoping there is something to put on this to take away the haze, i dont want to pay for a new console

any advice is apprecaited

I always followed up with rubbing alcohol.  It should get rid of that white haze.  I use that combination to prep dashes for double sided tape applications.
