I'm looking at running a laptop computer on a 300W inverter connected to a Deep Cycle Marine battery. The battery is labelled as 750 MCA and 155 reserve minutes. The power usage of the computer is around 90 Watts (19V x 4.74A).

Can someone tell me how long this battery would run the laptop before requiring a re-charge?

How do a battery's amp hours relate to this?

And how long does it typically take to recharge a battery in the vehicle (while driving). Now I realize this is highly dependant on the size of the alternator, accessories running in the vehicle, battery condition, etc. I'm just looking for a guess.

Thanks.

So, now I'm thinking maybe could use a solar panel to continuously trickle-charge the deep cycle battery. The panel I'm thinking about is a 15W output - - supposedly designed to charge systems in vehicles, cottages etc.  Would this be a better idea?
