I also have a 1999 Hyundai Accent manual shift, and they just put a new manifold and gasket on it 2 weeks ago, well on 02 /16 /03 the engine check light came on, Now this was all covered with the 60,00mile warranty when I bring it in to get fixed/ er what do you think is the problem with the engine check light on???? email me to speed thing up Thanks ronplanes@cs.com xx( :x

If you really want to know what triggered the cel then you should run down to a local autozone they will plug into the diagnostic port(free) and tell you what is wrong, they will also try to sell you the parts so just say that you are going to take it to the dealer. In order to say what triggered the cel it would take more info.

Thats right autozone does do free checks but want to sell you the parts.
