My Cruise Control just stopped working.

When I turn it on, Cruise Control light goes on but it does not work.

I checked the Fuse and it is good.

Anyone have a clue what is wrong ?

I have fixed many of these and I'll tell you what is wrong 95% of the time. The turn signal lever that has the cruise controls on it goes bad. It will either not work as yours does, or it will intermittantly shut off. To repair....look under the dash for a black flat connector that has 2 contacts, it feeds up through the cover of the column. Disconnect it and tie a thin wire to it because you need to pull it up through the column. If necessary, you can pull the lever first to figure out which wire it is.  Grab the turn signal lever and pull it straight out, it will have a little "T" looking thing on the end. When it's out, pull your fish wire up through the column. Go the the junk yard and get another one, or buy a new one at the tune of about $60-$80. Tie the new wire to the fish wire, pull it back down through the column and plug it back in. And no, the control doesn't come apart to fix it...I've tried. Good Luck...
