I just installed an omega atv-1000 in my 06 sierra. The only thing i dont likeabout it is when you disarm it the parking lights flash then stay on for 30 sec, when i open the truck door the reminder buzzer for lights are on is going off. Any info on how to get passed this besides pulling fuse? Thanks

this is a programmable feature of your alarm system. It is adjustable from 5 to 30 seconds. The 5 second setting will probably work better for you. Instructions are on page 27-28 of the manual. https://www.caralarm.com/manuals/Excalibur/al-1000atv2.pdf
