Hey all,

I'm stuck at a crossroad here on what type of amps I should go with to run my 2001 kicker L7 15 subs with. I'm torn between either the MTX Thunder81000D or the JBL 1200.1 BP mono block amps. I want an amp that can run really good and stable at two ohm, and the ablitiy to kick the sh*t out of those L7(just two of them) when I need them to. I guess my questions will begin here:

(1) So has anyone in here used either amps to run L7's before?
(2) If so, how do they handle the L7?
(3)Can they run good on a two ohm load?
(4)Are they good at their normal four ohm load?

To be quite honest I'm leaning more towards the MTX, but the BP are a few bones cheaper, so if the bargin amps are just as good as the more exspensive one then I'll swing that way. Thanks for all of those who took the time out to answer my questions.

Pervy

The JBL's have become very popular recently. And JBL as a company have a really great reputation - I have some 35 year old home stereo speaker sthat sound absolutely great. I'm kind of leaning towards the JBL for my truck soon, but we'll see. I havn't heard the MTX's, but i suppose they're pretty darn decent. I would probably go with the JBL cause of price, but that's me.
