Just in case anyone else has this problem, thought I would post it to help out. My light in the gear shift console started flickering and within a few days I lost all the lights in the dash. Fuse blows instantly when replaced so it was a dead short somewhere. Since the console light flickered thought I would check there first. You have to take two screws out of the back end of the console cover, open the console storage box and you'll see the 2 screws. Then just gently pry up the cover. You then have to take 3 screws out holding down the cover over the gear shift. The light under there had one of the wires broken off and thus caused the short. Just give the light a quarter turn and it will come out, unplug and find a replacement or leave it out if you wish.
